In-Game Development Play Test

This morning our development team met up for an in-game session to test out the mechanics of Brave Arms. It was so fun! Now, I admit that I am new to the video game scene and some would even dare to call me a Noob, but I am quickly learning my way around the battlefield. I've realized that in this industry especially, it can be a harsh, lonely world for those considered Noobs.
As the game launched and the scenes were set, immediately the battle started. Guns were fired and grenades launched made the play intense. I could hear voices shouting from each office as they were killed or made a kill. I was immediately immersed in the energy of the gameplay. Each level is carefully crafted with the most artistic components and the battles are quite enjoyable, once I learned the controls, that is.
So, from the perspective of a light gamer, Noob, or however I would be referenced, I can honestly say that the game rocks!

Get Ready For Brave Arms: Facebook's First Social Shooter

3G Studios in Reno, Nevada is taking the video game industry by the reigns and is launching the first social shooter on the Facebook platform. While I can't release too many details about the game itself, I can say that with the progress of the game I will be using this site to keep readers and players informed. 3G has taken a different approach to its development tactics by creating a game that will appeal to the masses as opposed to the hard-core gamer niche. The CEO, James Kosta, has been quoted as saying, "it's about fast-paced action and either competing against or forming teams with your friends. We want people to feel empowered and to share in a real video game experience."

The game itself is in its Alpha stages of testing and is aiming for Beta testing in the beginning of March and an official launch to the public in later March. While it is still in its Alpha phase, the public is being invited to reserve their chosen name for the upcoming Public Beta at htt://www.bravearms.com.

3G Studios is definitely not new to the scene, with titles such as "Jillian Michael's Fitness Ultimatum 2009," a collaboration with Harmonix to release "Rock Band" in 2007, "SWAT: Target Liberty" in 2007, and "Stacked with Daniel Negreanu" in 2006. Most recently, 3G Studios has launched four new intellectual properties on the iPhone; two of the most popular are a rhythm beat-matching game entitled "Zombeat" and an underwater adventure game entitled "The Deep."
We are anticipating great things from our latest venture and we hope to keep everyone's interests peaked as we move forward, so stay tuned for updates!
